Erica is a published book author, has published over a dozen scientific papers in prestigious peer reviewed journals, and has presented at numerous scientific conferences. She has focused her research on neuroscience, such as how exposure to nature can improve mental health, at world renowned institutions such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and UCSF. Erica’s numerous scientific accomplishments include co-creation of the Brain Health Assessment, used as a standard mechanism to diagnose brain health disorders throughout the world.

Alongside her efforts to give back in other ways, Erica co-founded The John and Erica Jersin Foundation. In her free time, Erica loves to bike, mountaineer, and rock climb. She has ridden her bike around the entire perimeter of Lake Tahoe, and rock climbed to the top of some of Yosemite Valley’s great peaks and backpacked to the summits of several of the tallest mountains in the continental United States.
